Who runs the site, how price comparison works and how we earn.
The website
Air Italia is an Italian search engine for flights, hotels and car rentals. The current version, launched in 2025, covers over 50 destinations in 5 languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish) with prices updated in real time.
We are not an airline or a travel agency. Air Italia does not issue tickets, does not manage bookings and has no contractual relationship with passengers. We are a comparison engine: our job is to find the best price and direct you to the provider's website where you complete the booking.
How price comparison works
When you search for a flight, hotel or car on Air Italia, the system queries major travel providers' databases in real time. Results are sorted by price and relevance. Clicking a result redirects you directly to the airline, hotel chain or car rental company website to complete your booking.
We do not modify prices, add commissions or intervene in the transaction. The price you see on our site is the same you will find on the provider's website.
What we are not
We do not sell holiday packages, manage bookings or respond to quote requests. The destination guides serve travellers who organise their trips independently and want a quick, unbiased price comparison.
How we earn
Air Italia is free for users. Revenue comes from affiliate links to booking providers: when a user completes a booking through a link on the site, we receive a commission from the partner. The final price for the booker does not change. Affiliate links are marked in the HTML with the rel="sponsored" attribute.
Data accuracy
Prices shown on destination pages come from provider APIs and may change throughout the day. Routes, frequencies and operating airlines are verified each season. Where a figure is approximate, we say so.
Errors and corrections
Prices change, airlines open and close routes, airports modify terminals. If you find incorrect or outdated information, write to [email] — we correct it within 48 hours.
